Unwinder with roll-holder shaft featuring mechanical brake and feeding calender rollers. Ideal for unwinding rolls of stretch-sensitive, weak and slippery materials. Featuring a dancing roller to check feed tension, this unwinder can be fitted with sensors to adjust the tension for roll diameter changes and feed laminator machines, cutting machines, vertical cutting tables, presses or die cutting machines.
Can be fitted with an automatic alignment system to optimise the processing of imperfectly rewound rolls. Also fitted with a mechanical brake adjustment system for the roll-holder shaft and mechanical adjustment of the pressure exerted by the calender roller on the material.
Suitable, among other things, for foam rubber, rubber and its derivatives, composite and natural fibres, leather, foam materials, fabrics, resinated and/or rubber-coated fabrics, and flexible materials in general.
Can work with materials widths from 1600 mm to 2100 mm, and inner roll cores from 50 mm to 152 mm (2”- 6”).
